In this long Blog, there's so many Divine Gems ... and the one that's touched me the most, is the image of the Heavenly Father and His instruction to His Son. So much so, that I changed the title to be directed about Him. He was the Driving Force behind Jesus ministry on earth, and is still today. I invite you to seek the Heavenly Father in this Blog. In the Exodus account, we see how the Lord spoke to Moses in a thick cloud, that all the people may hear Him speak with him. This has been forever a True sign for the Israelites that Moses was ordained by The Lord God of Abraham. 

Exodus 19:9 KJV  “And the LORD said unto Moses, Lo, I come unto thee in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with thee, and believe thee for ever. And Moses told the words of the people unto the LORD.  Exo 19:16  And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled. Exo 19:17  And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with God; and they stood at the nether part of the mount. Exo 19:18  And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly. Exo 19:19  And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and waxed louder and louder, Moses spake, and God answered him by a voice.” 

Jesus defends Himself when verbally accused by the Jews:

John 5:18 KJV  “Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.” 

Jesus is declaring: “I have a witness!!!” and He makes it very clear what that witness is, and Who is providing it. “but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.” (John 14:10)

John 14:10  Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

Jesus’ declared that even greater works will He do. Why greater works? What’s the Lord’s intention? What’s the purpose? We can find the answer here in John 5:19-20:

John 5:19  “Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. John 5:20  For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel.” 

From the beginning of His ministry, Jesus was causing people to Marvel. He made them “Astonished” when their fishing nets broke from an abundance of fish and their boats filled:

Luke 4:32 KJV “And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power.” 

Luke 5:8  KJV “When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord. 

Luke 5:9 KJV  For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken:” 

Luke 8:54 KJV  “And he put them all out, and took her by the hand, and called, saying, Maid, arise. 

Luke 8:55  And her spirit came again, and she arose straightway: and he commanded to give her meat. 

Luke 8:56  And her parents were astonished: but he charged them that they should tell no man what was done.” 

Luke 24:22 KJV “Yea, and certain women also of our company made us astonished, which were early at the sepulchre; 

Luke 24:23  And when they found not his body, they came, saying, that they had also seen a vision of angels, which said that he was alive.” 

Acts 9:5 KJV  “And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. 

Acts 9:6  And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.” 

Acts 10:44 KJV  “While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. 

Acts 10:45  And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.” 

Acts 12:7-8, 16 KJV  “And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands. 

Acts 12:8  And the angel said unto him, Gird thyself, and bind on thy sandals. And so he did. And he saith unto him, Cast thy garment about thee, and follow me.” 

Acts 12:16  “But Peter continued knocking: and when they had opened the door, and saw him, they were astonished.” 

Matthew 8:27 KJV  “But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!” (FOOTNOTE: April 8th; Jesus demonstrated how to follow the Father, and what would happen when we do. Today, it's rare to see preachers follow the Heavenly Father closely, nor do you often hear them speak about the Heavenly Father. The Heavenly Father is wanting to correct this. There's a shift in the spirit taking place to restore the fellowship of the Father back to His church. I felt the shift initiated March 30th, 2025 at about 12pm here on the West Coast of Canada. I will be writing a blog about the Heavenly Father soon.) 

Matthew 9:7 KJV “ And he arose, and departed to his house. 

Matthew 9:8  But when the multitudes saw it, they marvelled, and glorified God, which had given such power unto men.” 

Matthew 9:33 KJV  “And when the devil was cast out, the dumb spake: and the multitudes marvelled, saying, It was never so seen in Israel.” 

Matthew 21:20 KJV  “And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away!” 

This is a Super Important message, because many churches today have become Predictable. They’ve lost the Element of Surprise, or, I also like to say it this way: “Where’s the Shock and Awe In Churches Today?”

My life as a Christian has been full of “Shock and Awe!” I’m constantly astonished by the Amazing things the Lord does in my life and ministry. Hence the reason why my YouTube channel is titled: Signs. It’s pretty obvious that most churches today have NO Signs and it’s no Wonder at all! Every Sunday is predictable. They know exactly what to expect. I don’t need convincing that our God is a great God. First of all, we see that in His Word. But for me, my relationship with Him jumps off the pages of the Bible and become reality in every way possible. If it can happen in the Bible, it happens in my life. The Supernatural Shock and Awe of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Element of Surprise is His way of having fun with His children. He wants us to know Him deeply, experientially. Not just an answered prayer. Not just a mild healing from a common cold. He wants us to be astonished every day! And that requires Much more than just reading our Bibles on occasion and saying a prayer for our family. If we want more time with Him and if we want to experience the “Shock and Awe” of the Lord in our daily life, then we need to make an equal amount of effort in seeking Him the best way we know how. We all have access to a Bible, especially with technology today. We can read it on our phones. We can all sing praises to Him and seek His face and His kingdom. If we lack in our efforts to seek Him, it’s no wonder at all that we are lacking the “Shock and Awe” in our daily life.

With all the temptations in the world today, I believe it’s necessary to have a daily dose of “Shock and Awe” from the Heavenly Father, and it’s been my experience that He Loves to play with us like children, and show us His Love and Care this way.

Not only for us, His Children, but for the World to Believe in Him. But it’s been taught in many churches today, that the excitement of being Born Again, wears out after a period of time. That’s so not true!!! I have been a Born Again Believer for over 30 years, and still today, if I feel like He’s not close by to me, I will cry out like David:

Psalm 51:10 KJV “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Psalm 51:11  Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. Psalm 51:12  Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.” 

In Regards to Unbelievers:

I strongly believe, that according to the Word of God, it was before and it is today, His Will to cause people to Marvel at His Works, that He’s still performing Mighty Works through His children today.

To what intent?

To reveal to the world Who Jesus is, so that they will openly hear His message. He is the prophet that was prophesied to come. A prophet like Moses (Deuteronomy 18:15-18 KJV) He is the Savior of the World. The King of kings and Lord of lords.

Isaiah 9:6  KJV “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:7  Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.” 

More Bible Verses for Study Regarding The Works of the Father. These are very important to read over and over prayerfully:

Why these Bible verses are so important to study: Romans 10:16 KJV “Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.” Simply meaning, if we can see it in the Bible, we can know it will happen in our lives by faith.

John 10:25 KJV "Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me."

John 10:37 KJV  "If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. John 10:38  But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him."

John 14:9 KJV “Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? John 14:10  Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. John 14:11  Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake. John 14:12  Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. John 14:13  And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. John 14:14  If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

Acts 1:8 KJV  “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”

Just as the Father gave witness to Jesus, in His Name, so He now does through us. I have proven this again and again. Watch my video’s to hear the testimonies.

Romans 9:1 KJV  “I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost”
The Holy Ghost bears witness to our conscience. This is how the Heavenly Father ministers to us and through us for ministry and parenting.

Act 15:9 KJV  “Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe. Act 15:8  And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us;”

The Holy Ghost is the One who reveals to us Jesus and His salvation and confirms it with the Outpouring of the Holy Ghost as happened with Peter. How many times I asked the people in the churches in China if they want the Holy Ghost, and before I could pray, there were flames of fire on all their heads. It revealed to me How Great is His desire to engage with people.

Hebrews 10:15 KJV “Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before, Hebrews 10:16  This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; Hebrews 10:17  And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.”

Acts 5:31 KJV “Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.
Acts 5:32  And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.”

Acts 10:38 KJV “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
Acts 10:39  And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree:
Acts 10:40  Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly;
Acts 10:41  Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead.

Messengers from John the Baptist:

Luke 7:18 KJV “And the disciples of John shewed him of all these things. Luke 7:19  And John calling unto him two of his disciples sent them to Jesus, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another? Luke 7:20  When the men were come unto him, they said, John Baptist hath sent us unto thee, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another? Luke 7:21  And in that same hour he cured many of their infirmities and plagues, and of evil spirits; and unto many that were blind he gave sight. Luke 7:22  Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached.”

This is very very powerful and revelatory. Here Jesus Himself, gives Proof of Who He is, with Signs and Wonders. Guess what? He hasn’t changed! He’s still doing that today! I’ve proved it again and again! Continue reading to learn how I proved it.

Matthew 12:39 KJV “But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:
Mat 12:40  For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
Mat 12:41  The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here.

The Jewish people were always looking for a Witness from above, a Sign from Heaven, for a confirmation.

“and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:” (Matthew 12:39 KJV)

Jesus, was prophesying of His death, and Resurrection. His death and resurrection were to be a “Sign” of Who He is, and What He came to accomplish by the Works of the Father in and through Him.

Furthermore:

John 5:36 KJV  “But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me. John 5:37  And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.”

The Ninevites repented as a result of the Witness of Jonah, and, as Jesus said: “behold, a greater than Jonas is here.”  (Matthew 12:41)

What was the witness that Jonah had?

Jonah, after trying to escape the call of God to go to Ninevah, was thrown off a ship into the sea, and swallowed by a whale. For 3 days Jonah was in the whales belly. There’s acid in the stomach of a whale, that would have been digesting Jonah’s flesh. So, imagine, Jonah would have had a visible witness, that his clothing and skin would have been damaged by the acid in the whales stomach, giving a visible sign, proving his story as true. This Witness brought conviction upon the Ninevites when they heard the prophetic word of the Lord for them to repent or else be destroyed in 40 days.

Then, while in the belly of the whale, Jonah calls unto the Lord, saying:

Jonah 2:1 KJV  “Then Jonah prayed unto the LORD his God out of the fish's belly, Jon 2:2  And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice. Jon 2:3  For thou hadst cast me into the deep, in the midst of the seas; and the floods compassed me about: all thy billows and thy waves passed over me. Jon 2:4  Then I said, I am cast out of thy sight; yet I will look again toward thy holy temple. Jon 2:5  The waters compassed me about, even to the soul: the depth closed me round about, the weeds were wrapped about my head. Jon 2:6  I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars was about me for ever: yet hast thou brought up my life from corruption, O LORD my God. Jon 2:7  When my soul fainted within me I remembered the LORD: and my prayer came in unto thee, into thine holy temple. Jon 2:8  They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy. Jon 2:9  But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of the LORD. Jon 2:10  And the LORD spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land.” 

So, today, Jesus' resurrection is a Sign:

as Jonah was a Sign, to give witness that the Word He speaks is Truth. It was a PROOF. When Jesus’ own disciples heard that He is risen, they had doubt in their hearts, until they saw Him; and even after they saw Him, He continued to prove to them that He is the Risen King for 40 days.  

Jesus hasn’t changed! Hebrews 13:8 KJV  “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” He’s still proving Himself to be the Resurrected King of kings and Lord of lords. The people in the world today, need proof of Him just as they needed it in the days when Jesus was preaching for 3 years before His death and resurrection.

He wants to “confirm the word with signs following.” (Mark 16:20 KJV) He sent them out with power to cast out devils, heal the sick and raise the dead, and He’s still doing that today. “Behold, I give unto you power…” (Luke 10:19 KJV) “Ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost has come upon you.” (Acts 1:8 KJV) 

“And the hand of the Lord was with them: and a great number believed, and turned unto the Lord.” (Acts 11:21 KJV) The hand of the Lord is with us today! All through the Old Testament we read of the hand of the Lord with Israel, and also it’s in the New Testament: “And all they that heard them laid them up in their hearts, saying, What manner of child shall this be! And the hand of the Lord was with him.” (speaking of the birth of John the Baptist Luke 1:66 KJV) “the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season.” (Acts 13:11 KJV) “By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.” (Acts 4:30 KJV)  “But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you.” (Luke 11:20 KJV) (the finger of God is attached to the Hand of God.)

So, the works that the Father does through us, are a Sign that gives witness/proof that Jesus rose from the dead, and His salvation is true (John 3:16 KJV) and repentance is needed. “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:” (Acts 3:19-20 KJV) Just as the Ninevites repented when warned of the coming wrath, so today, unbelievers, when convinced that Jesus is the Resurrected, Living King of kings, Lord of lords, the way the truth and the life, ... they will repent of their sins and turn to the Lord for His salvation.

People today often don’t believe Jesus is God come in the flesh, to save humanity, but once they see the Sign and Wonder, proving His death and resurrection, a person healed miraculously, like blind eyes opening, or a loved one raised back to life from the dead, their hearts open up and the Holy Ghost reveals Jesus to them.

How does a Sign and  a Wonder Prove Jesus’ Resurrection?

Human’s can heal people through medical means, but it’s limited and often costly. When a man or woman prays for someone with Autism, blindness, deafness, or missing a limb that grows back visibly, it’s obvious that the human didn’t do it. So, Who did it! Jesus did it!! It reveals Him to people who don’t know Him yet. I’ve seen so many unbelievers come to believe in Jesus when Jesus showed Himself real to them. Not only through healing and miracle signs. Jesus can open a persons understanding so that they understand the scripture and by the Holy Ghost sin, righteousness and judgement can be revealed to them. This is also a powerful way that the Lord operates in revealing Himself. Not everyone needs a physical miracle, but everyone needs a soul salvation. Miracles haven’t been the most effective form of revealing to many people that I’ve seen. Nonetheless, it’s a very powerful way that the Lord uses, and it’s soo much fun to witness and leaves a person astonished at the Wonders of the Love of God. It has a Very Long lasting effect on a person. It also helps for people to believe that the Lord will heal others through them when they pray for them after they’ve seen it happen to themselves, someone they know or even a stranger. Often times, it’s those that receive a physical miracle that become the Biggest Evangelists.

It’s a simple message with a powerful effect:

 “Jesus is alive! If He’s not alive, then nothing will happen! But, if He is alive, and He is, then the message I preach to you today will be confirmed with Signs following! The deaf will hear, the blind will see. The lame will walk. Not because I can do anything, but because He’s risen from the dead, and still walks in our midst to confirm the Gospel message we are preaching according to His Word, and in His Name. When I pray for the people today, if nothing happens, you can throw me out of your church and call me a false preacher. But, if miracles happen, then you will know, that it’s not I who does the works, but the One Who is With me who does the works. His name is Jesus Christ of Nazareth, and by His stretched forth hand, He’s confirming His Word as I preach it, with the Signs following.”

This was my introductory message in every church meeting I preached in China for nearly 2 years. That would be probably nearly 100 times. Every single time, Jesus was in our midst, doing the same things He did 2,000 years ago, proving that He is Who He said He is. He’s the Resurrection and the life. “Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:” (John 11:25 KJV) 

He Showed Himself alive from the dead 2,000 years ago. He’s still showing Himself alive today, because He is alive! He’s the Resurrected Christ!
Act 1:3 KJV “To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:”

Jesus never denied anyone. Not one person did He ever deny healing. He hasn't changed! He's the same today!

Jesus said, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me"... for preaching Good News ... He went about doing good healing all,... What is this? The kingdom of Heaven at hand. It's Eden restored through Christ... He was operating under the Hand of the Lord, with all power in Heaven and in earth  while preaching on earth ... therefore, He was operating as Adam had been given dominion on earth while operating from Eden on Earth simultaneously... so it was for Jesus.... and so it is for us today in His name. Amen, and amen!!!
